Digital Signal Processing/DSP Engineer

 
Great opportunity for qualified Engineer with DSP programming experience, to become part of world class engineering team delivering high quality voice compression solutions to customers around the world!  Participate in the development of new software and hardware voice systems using DVSI's latest vocoder technology. Play a critical role in the next generation of communications products for some of the worlds leading companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     *  Work on state-of-the-art vocoder and advanced communications software.
     *  Implement and evaluate algorithms on advanced DSPs.
     *  Work directly with customers to diagnose and solve technical problems in a timely
        and effective manner.
     *  Make occasional technical presentations to customers in support of sales efforts.
     *  Participate in technical team generating features and specifications for next generation products.


Job Requirements

     *  U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
     *  B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
     *  3+ years experience in engineering or in supporting high technology sales.
     *  Experience with DSPs, chip and board-based products helpful.
     *  Excellent computer and communication skills.
     *  Occasional travel
