DVSI's APCO P25 Vocoder
The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) selected DVSI's vocoder as the standard for the APCO Project 25 North American land mobile radio communication system.
Their evaluation of four vocoders determioned that DVSI's vocoder was the best choice because of its ability to deliver high-quality speech at low bit rates and in harsh environments.
In a recent independent evaluation, DVSI's NEW Half-Rate vocoder not only out performed the existing Full-Rate vocoder, but also provided better efficiency and additional features.
